Always place your candle on a level surface away from curtains etc. The travel candle tins must be placed on a heatproof surface. Do not leave candles on window sills which get a lot of sun.
Light the candle and wait for the wax to melt along the entire top for an even burn. If you blow out the candle before the wax on the top has melted across the container, this may result in what is known as tunnelling.
As we use natural cotton wicks, it is vital to always keep your wick short and trim on every re-light.
It is best to burn your candle for a maximum of 4 hours.
When your candle has finished, you can place it in the freezer for 24 hours and remove wax by holding the glass upside down on a tea towel and giving it a good hard tap.
